What Nanny checks do you carry out?

We invite all applicants for an in-person or virtual interview with us, during which we dig deep into their competencies, qualifications, and experience. We examine original documents to verify their identity, right-to-work / visa requirements, enhanced criminal record certification, any professional registrations, licences, and request detailed information on their references. We look for appropriate skills and experience as well as their levels of application, interests, and personality. Finally, we speak to former employers and academic references to confirm their employment history, qualifications & references.

Criminal Record Checks - What is an Enhanced DBS and the French & Overseas Equivalent?

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) in the UK looks at the complete criminal history of an individual to establish clearance for people working with vulnerable adults and children. It's not compulsory for nannies to have a DBS check, but is a standard requirement for the profession.

Overseas applicants need to have valid certificates of good conduct from the relevant embassies of any country where they've lived for 12 months or more in the 5 years before the date of a job application, while aged 18 or over.

Can I book a trial day with my Nanny?

Yes. It's always a good idea for the family and nanny to arrange at least one trial day before committing to an engagement. We can provide more information about the importance during our individual client consultations.

What areas do you serve?

Our bespoke service is international and suited to families based predominantly in Monaco, the French Riviera, Russia, the UAE, & the UK.

We would be delighted to help in your search, we have many experienced, talented & vetted nannies and other private staff on our books waiting to start their next chapter.
